But yet they still watch him, still donate to him, and somehow manage to not get offended at how he treats his viewers and drills in the constant begging, complaining, absolute shithouse gameplay, over and over and over again.

Makes you think about the sort of people behind the other side of the screen. They're almost fixated on this abusive manipulation that Phil can't possibly be forced to live close to the poverty line, they have to be a true blue fan and save him, as if their own financial wellbeing depended on it.

If he only gets 2000 that is still significantly more than he'd make on a friday- not including a friday where Corporate Solid Snake gets his stimmy bux. im not going to tell other people how to enjoy phil but ive come to accept that he is playing financial calvinball and that the numbers are made up, dont matter and arent honest.
 
It's been a while since I watched a DSP stream, I forgot how fucking lame his commentary actually is. 0 insight, just "DUH HUH, I love this dialogue!" "DUH HUH LOOK AT THAT!" "OH SHIT!" and endless bitching about how the game isn't playing it's self mixed with confusion as to what he should be doing, where he should be going, etc.

That people have this in the background of their lives all day is astonishing. The only thing worth watching DSP for are unhinged rants and I much prefer to get those clipped so I don't have to deal with what might actually be the worst streamer of all time.

almost makes you feel like anyone could be a streamer and have hundreds of viewers. but ive seen people literally not say a word for over 10mins and have hundreds of viewers too.

idk man, i dont think getting a following has anything to do with interaction and dialogue, sure it can help. but i think its mostly having a base to begin with

Phil just claimed that the game wouldn’t have let him progress until he completed all the useless side missions
So it’s not his fault that he spent the entire marathon dicking around in the Tutorial area

Well these mods are some of the most deplorable specimens I've ever witnessed on twitch. Imagine having to do all this consistnent snooze fest janitor work and get yelled at by some fat 40 year old hermit who's got green rolling in telling you you're not doing your job properly without getting paid at all.

Like what is the reward? You don't get any clout for that, being a mod for DSP sounds like a complete embarrassment.
