Before the stream; "It's not the end of the world if I don't get the full $3,000.

Now: "I need to raise the $3,000 or I am in trouble.

And then, a couple of days later, he boots up the stream from a different location, and thus begins the Dave and Linda's Basement saga which will run until he enters cardiac arrest on stream.

true. but whether this guy is making $10,000,000 per year or $15,000; he will always make an ass of himself publicly, and thats what makes him true lolcow material

I guarantee you he talked to a few of his whales behind the scenes and told them don't tip until the end so he can get maximum money. It happened during the Cat reveal.

If you're right then I will happily eat shit, but I just don't see it happening! Atleast one whale would've picked up the slack before now. It's been slow as shit for the last 1+ hour.
 
DSP while you're on your dinner break and checking out the evil Kiwi Farms, how does this feel? Because buckle in buckaroo this emergency streaming is life now, and if you're not having fun being a spectacle now you're sure not gonna like it when Covid restrictions start to evaporate and the wheelchairs start to get back to living more normal lives and the attention starts to die off and $50 a day is going to seem like a godsend.

I do tend to underestimate the sheer autism of Phil's following, but we'll see.
 
Wait, he's taking a dinner break? Doesn't "marathon" usually imply sustained investment and endurance? Just... taking a dinner break, huh. No other option, can't just have some snacks in the office to help him along.
 
These "do or die" begathons are such an obvious scam, cause every time he falls mega short of however many thousands of dollars the goal is, tomorrow he just declares everything is fine due to stuff happening behind the scenes. I swear there was a period a few years ago where he had a bunch of begathons in a short amount of time and the last few didn't even come close to hitting the goal, and nothing bad happened. Might have been a christmas begathon.
I don't believe in heaven but I wonder what good old st. Pete would say when Phil finally waddles up that golden stairway and he checks his clipboard and sees he had been trading in fake distress and tragic stories for cold hard cash from mentally stunted people.
