This must be like Christmas morning for DSP.
Playing his favorite game, stopping every 2 seconds to update the latest tipper as money rolls in.
You know, I thought (and still do) that the reason that DSP needs to update everything manually is because of his need for control. Now that you can only tip him, the amount of "troll fake encouragement" should go down drastically.

But I never thought of it also as a stalling tactic. I think you're on to something.

LOL. "I'm going to change it now OBVIOUSLY to look like me." That's the only thing DSP can ever change any create a character into - himself.

I have never spent any amount of time in a character creator going as far back as Morrowind. Who cares what I look like, I'm barely going to look at myself.

It's also an information hiding tactic. His lies are predicated on knowing how much money he's getting. By delaying updating it or hiding the tips goal once it's met he can coerce more money out of his pay pigs and make it more difficult to account for exactly how much he's earning. Information hiding is a huge part of the MO of a pathological liar because it gives them more leeway to change their stories later.

The best part is it's taken him almost 20 minutes so far to make HIMSELF

pretty sure this isn't the first time a begathon has been right before pay day. I think he's getting it and taking the cucks for a ride as usual.

It is pretty funny that DSP considers a 7 hour gaming session a 'marathon' . Pretty much the same gameplay time as your average streamer on Twitch.
I suppose with stalling and breaks he's looking at probably 3-4 hours of actually playing the game, so just a normal day for him at the end of things.

Wait. DSP says that people can't use the tip command because spamming it causes it to timeout?

Is that an actual Twitch thing or another DSPism for something he's too lazy to fix? I've never seen that happen before.

Yup, spot on likeness.

Whoa the marathon aspect of this isn't DSP doing the stream, the marathon is how fast can his paypigs bust out their verified paypal accounts to make sure he hits an arbitrarily large goal by the end of his streaming day. "You guys have 7 hours to give me $3000 so I can stay on Twitch! The clock starts now...."

He also rounds down tips to obscure the real total. Tipping $1.30, $1.75, etc, will get rounded down to $1.00. He just did it now with the $2.86 tip only added $2.00 to the total. Over the course of a year he probably hides hundreds if not thousands of dollars in tips this way.

There's no way this guy isn't cheating on his taxes.

That's because you're not incredibly narcissistic like Phil is. It doesn't matter if he ever looks at his character, he will KNOW that they don't look like him, and that's unacceptable.

Never forget that Phil isn't anti-social from being shy. He's like that because he can't wrap his head around the idea of being about other people.
I laughed my ass off when he choose the fullest hair and then said: "yeah, that looks just like me"
This fucker is delusional :story:
The guy who theorized in the hair thread that Phil's issue with his hair stems from his immaturity is probably right on the money. His brain is known to be over a decade behind his age, and his hair reminds him of how old he actually is, how much time he actually has left, versus where his mind is.

Phil lives in denial about his baldness because he's living in denial of his age. Why else does he act like he has grown so much over the years when he didn't start his internet career until he was pushing 30? The top of his head tells the real story, and he doesn't like it.

I feel like he refuses to advance the game and get involved in it until he hits his goal. Like there's a mental barrier that refuses to open until enough money is thrown at it. Then he will be able to joke around, read dialog with passion, laugh at any jokes, and smile while playing.

I guess you could call this a "Demo" of whats to come until the piggy receives all his money. Then you get the full game.
