It's just so mind-boggling that insurance covers these cosmetic procedures, but at same time, it's not surprising in the least. Insurance covering boob jobs and stink ditch constructions for coomer men as if they're actually necessary. Something tells me a boob job wouldn't be covered for an actual woman with body dysmorphic disorder, but somehow it's a "life-saving" procedure for troons, even though gender dysphoria is basically a more extreme version of BDD. Unlike BDD though, gender dysphoria is not treated like an irrational delusion by modern Western medicine.

Not only is a boob job not covered for actual women, if you're a FTM your tit removal is but if you're just a natal woman who needs a reduction because the size is causing you back pain it is considered cosmetic and won't be covered. There's a small group who will claim the reduction but not removal is critical for gender identity to get around it.

See, normally if you got one woman, you got a 50/50 chance of her being menstruator. But some are trans women and that’s not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, that she menstruates. Then you add transmascs to the mix, the chance they menstruate drastic go down. See the menstruators, cis, trans femme, and trans masc, you got a 33 1/3 chance of one bleeding, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of menstruating, because TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN. So cis women, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of menstruating. But then you take my 75% chance of menstruating, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of menstruating. See cis women, the numbers don't lie.

When somebody thinks they're going to get a thread here they almost never have a thread here, BUT I can see that kind of mistake for someone who's only visited a couple times, just poked around and noped out. I like ones like these who specifically "know" the forum and are convinced they'll be the center of attention in a thread they probably extensively refresh for dirt on other troons but they still fuck it up by not being interesting or funny enough other than schizo ramblings.
You should gently point out to your friend that he's uncomfortable because most of these communities are full of toxic and overly-political people. Does he really want to be a part of that scene? Probably not, it sucks and people will turn on you if you disobey the political hive mind.
