I highly doubt he's a troll. He seems to genuinely be an unintelligent man speaking broken pidgin English who thinks he's smarter than he actually is.

I've had random Indians (who have no common interests with me) text me on social media (on Instagram) asking me if they want to hang out and be friends. You live in a country 4,767 miles away from me and there are COVID restrictions. Are there not enough people in India you can make friends with?
