Having the kid share a room increases his "risk of death?" Okay lmao. Woulda thought that the roommate could, like, make sure he's okay after a seizure or call 911 or something but aight.

Supposedly he needs a room alone because the other dude would keep him awake and disrupt his sleep and make him have seizures and die.

So he should probably go to a school that doesn't have sharing a room as literally part of its core culture. Whether or not it's a weird culture, it's not just something that can be waived. There are plenty of other schools out there for special snowflakes.

Sleep disruption/irregular sleep patterns is an actual risk factor for increasing seizures, granted, but if that's something the student's worried about he probably should've applied somewhere that doesn't require shared dorms. Epilepsy is all about making compromises for your health.

That could be the very reason he chose Notre Dame. There are a lot of people who will seek out schools/businesses/clubs that won't accommodate them just so they file a lawsuit. Just happened again with that Colorado baker.

It doesn't seem likely to me that someone had a hate-on specifically for Notre Dame. If it involved a troon I'd assume that.

Because of my own epilepsy, his book on his disorder was recommended to me to read, and I was even given a copy. I couldn't stop thinking about the shit I've seen here and elsewhere online the entire time I skimmed through it.

Was it any good? I wouldn't be astonished. Some good writers are real assholes and vice versa.

I remember it being very self-pitying and difficult to get through, hence me having to skim it in order to stand it. I could try to read it in more detail if you guys want. I'd have to dig it up though. I have no idea where I put it.

Even the leftists hate this sped.

The original exposure of Eichenwald for his CP escapades were from the hard left, specifically CounterPunch, founded by Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St. Clair, who were just shy of tankies.

Doesn't help when in their statement they said that they do have students that have epilepsy at their school.

If disturbed sleep is really a big factor, just make sure the roommate is aware of it. Get some autist that never leaves the room and spends his nights painting Warhammer 40K figurines. Or hell, bag him with another epileptic so they can keep an eye on each other.

That's probably what the school does. It makes no sense to me why an epilogic would want to be alone. If he has an episode no one would know if they don't have a roommate.

Kurt is angling to be that roommate.

That's some 4D chess right there.

Brilliant comeback, Kurt, really showing off that Fourth Estate thoughtfulness and wit.

Also wow how heteronormative, how do you know he's not gay? Telling him to get a girlfriend, may as well be telling him to go to church, you shitlord.
