He LITERALLY broke his last laptop by recording music while jumping on the bed "recording music". I'm not up to date on music recording, but when I was doing it digital was just starting to crest. I had a couple mixing boards multiple mics, cords and adapters for amps, and a bowl of spaghetti before it hit the computer that was doing the actual recording (that computer had a couple audio inputs so I could balance a couple tracks for master, especially the drums- those motherfuckers are loud. Which would have been fine if I had run us all thru monitors and the drummer wasn't a drummer).

I didn't think simple technical difficulties would be the thing that takes Styx down but I'm not complaining.
That implies he probably left his normal phone behind out of fear of being traced by the police. I wonder if he lost most of his contacts too apart from the few numbers he could remember.
He might have also switched from a normal smart phone to a super cheap plan. Something like Verizon runs what? $100 a month? The pay-as-you-go ones are like $15 a month but they'll give you a jacked up phone number.
I amunder the impression that the cops still have his normal phone in evidence (the one he threw at Sam).
