How did that faggot get hired at Bloomberg to churn out this garbage? He didn't ask any relevant parties any interesting questions whatsoever, ignored the obvious, added nothing to the conversation that people didn't already know, and turned it in a month too late to "matter."

Why does this faggot even still write about the gaming industry? He clearly hates it and everyone involved in it.
Because Jason Schreier is unironically the best games journalist in the traditional sense.

He's pretty consistently been able to find out these sorts of details. He has the right connections and communications to make contact with at least any mainstream game company's devs, and can generally tease out details that sometimes escape public notice. He's generally competent as a writer, as well.

He's also usually among the first to accept a game that the journos are stumping for is dead, and thus the first to write a realistic post-mortem. This gives him the closest facsimile of integrity the industry has.

Among the whole wannabe headline-writers of the game journalism industry, Jason is the one person who actually could become a real journalist. A corrupt and very late one, but still.

Pulse check. Code Blue imminent.

Fucking lol at this point they could (successfully) run their server backend on a fucking Raspberry Pi and provide adequate service for their remaining five or six players... :story:

Do you think their "matchmaking" logic has a proviso in it that says "if there's only 10 people queued in total, just shove them in a game together instead of waiting for eternity for more saviors to arrive"?

I have a feeling that only bots are playing this, nowadays

Oh, and you can easily get locked outside of your own base in this mode. But it also creates some really gay spawn camping opportunities
