Ankle boots help when you have a shorter leg (such as myself). Elongates the legs and doesn't make you look like a hobbit.

My short ass needs ankle boots and I love to wear them.
Part of the issue is the "wing" is way, way, way too long and thick on most people. It's not bad on different eye types but it has to be much more subtle.
I like the whole Egyptian wing look.

Thread tax; I bought a pair of jeans at & other stories and they were a sturdy denim for a reasonable price. I’ve also always lucked out on H&M jeans, as long as I buy the slightly more expensive 100% cotton ones. But ymmv.

Anyway, my complaint; makeup and clothes are almost 100% warm-toned these days. Anyone who’s very cool toned will know what I mean. I don’t want to look like flustered death in Kardashian beige clothes and rust bronzer.

I want good quality, nice colour, high waisted skinny jeans with 28in legs and I cannot find them anywhere. The Levi’s 721s fit weirdly and make me look like a granny. They’re too baggy in the thigh. All the other jeans I see in the shops are so wide they make me look ridiculous.
I just want nice jeans, man .

I had to get vintage z cavariccis for decent high waisted jeans. If you don't mind a button fly here or there, ebay has them sometimes.

I'm loving the look of some Victorian style ankle boots on Temu. I might get one and see how the Chink shit fares. They have the classic heel that goes under the heel for balance, and some even have lace trim.
Tube tops. No matter what time period. They're always worn by big backs at walmart in my area. It's disgusting.
The only person who looks good in them is Jill Valentine.

From what I've heard, Japanese and Korean brands have more cooler tones. This Youtuber, on top of having a fantastic ASMR voice, covers some cool-toned products.

I'm sure this ones probably been put in here, but fake tan.
I fucking despise fake tan. I don't know if it's /that/ common in places like the States but in my euro-fag land, it's not uncommon for a lot of younger girls [think like, 15-16 year olds] or generally speaking women, especially around my age [so, in their 20's or older] to just fucking coat themselves in fake tan. It was a thing even back when I was a teenager lol.
I only consider it a trend because it's so common amongst younger women or mid to later teen girls and has been for years. It looks so gaudy, it's just terrible.
It's even more gross when you see older women doing it, on top of bad plastic surgery and obvious fillers, botox, etc. It's just... Gross. It doesn't look good on anyone. Literally not a soul looks fashionable making themselves look like a fuggin Oompa-Loompa.

Nothing wrong with anyone wanting to be a little fashionable or nice looking, even "older" women, but dear God, you do not need fake tan. It's just so awful.

Personally cant stand high waisted jeans. I dont care what style, I just dont have the height and torso length to pull them off. The waist band ends up under my boobs and makes me look fat. Im glad they exist for the tall slim girlies but thank god midrise and low-rise came back.

Various other things I hate:
- huge oversized glasses, especially horn rimmed
- loud patterned dresses (usually made for fat people to distract from them being fat but it doesn't work)
- all matte makeup
- ballet flats
- double or triple denim outfits

Both high waist and low waist pants suck. High waist makes you look like you spent too much time on Tumblr and Pinterest but you never cared to actually take a look in the mirror. Low waist's just plain trailer trash whore. The "boyfriend pants" trend was bad enough but now I see high schoolers wearing those oversized juggalo pants I wouldn't even wear as a joke. Like, I bet kids these days bully other kids dressing in actually form fitting clothes instead of wearing potato sacks. It's sad.

I've never seen a girl wearing a high waist pant with other purpose than gunt hiding

I'm very pale. (Like white as a wall pale lol). So all of the warm tones look horrible on me.

I'm addicted to matte lipstick because it means I don't have to keep reapplying.

- all matte makeup
Oh, this is a pretty good one to hate. I can't say it's the worst though

I wear some high waisted pants, I have no gunt thank Christ, but it's literally just the one pair and I barely wear them... I saw one real ugly pooner wearing similar pants a while back and it turned me away from ever wanting to wear mine again

How do you decide if you’re cool or warm? I keep seeing things like colour or veins in your wrists but I still can’t work it out. I’m clearly useless at this style stuff.
I like high waisted pants, as in ‘sit on the waist or an inch below’

Take a photo of your inner wrist in daylight (you need the veins to be clearly visible) and ask ChatGPT to tell you.

Anything that is a specific brands specific clothing item (''microtrend'') such as that one designers strawberry dress, cow print leggings from UO, etc etc. It's more of a 'look what I've managed to get' when the rush makes it hard to get a specific item rather than an organic trend like low waisted jeans or something.
I also hate fake vintage stuff, wannabe 60s/70s (or even 80s) when they never look like real clothes from that era.

ballet flats are so comfortable though! i can absolutely understand why someone wouldn’t like them though, and it’s kinda stupid having a shoe that you effectively cannot wear for half of a year because of the weather.

Some fashion trends I hate, some might be controversial, especially the first

- Ankle boots, for some reason I think they look slutty. I don’t know why but I’ve always hated them.
- Septum piercings.
- Animal print anything. It just looks tacky to me.
- Winged eyeliner. ALR might be the cause of this one.
- Oversized glasses frames.

I don't like long boots. It just feels weird. 😓

I loathe septum piercings. It just looks like you need a tissue to me. Animal print reminds me of Peggy Bundy. I just can't unsee the big red head going "Oh Al!".

But I really hate the oversized frames. They look stupid on most people. I always choose small wire frames myself. I prefer subtle glasses. Statement glasses only work on Elton John. No one else really pulls them off as far as I'm concerned.
