I need women who wear ballet flats to tell me how long it usually takes to break in leather ones. All I've worn in the past were cheap faux leather or fabric flats, and they never needed breaking in, but fell apart in less than a year. I bought these last week thinking they'd be a good investment, but so far I've received only heel pain. I've been wearing them around the house with thick socks on for the past couple days to try and break them in, and it's helped some, but I can still only stand walking in them for about an hour. How long should it take for either my heels or the shoes to adjust?

P.S. — Yes, they are properly sized and not too small. The next size up were so large on me that they wouldn't stay on when I walked.

Is the back of the heel cut high so it rubs into your achilles tendon? I have no problem breaking in leather flats, they are usually super soft and ready to go but GODDAMN STEVE MADDEN shoes are always cut way to high for me at the back. I am huwhite and don't have flat heels either I don't know what's up.

What I'm saying is maybe they aren't the right shape for your foot. Are you talking about hard structured leather flats like i dunno loafer type leather? ballet flats are usually soft.

Yes, they're thick leather like a pair of loafers. The back of the heel isn't too high, just rigid and that's causing it to chafe my skin. No tendon pain thankfully, just surface redness. I've avoided blisters by wearing socks.

sorry to digress from prior conversation but im a foid who only has moid friends.

I live in a red state and despite that all of my friends are either weird trannies, men, or bisexuals. I feel like i just don't have ladies near me who have the same nerdy hobbies as me, and all of the ladies i meet are SJW, wokey, She/they/it, stoner, sex pests.

I want local girlfriends and I'm thinking of creating a club and posting it around town to invite strangers to maybe a discord server and then organizing get-togethers. How can I frame it in the most cool way that would attract primarily cool women that are into art, videogames, TCGs, TTRPGs, painting, creative writing. Even without those hobbies, how do I gather women who arnt just painfully lefty.

I feel like i just get along with guys better tbh. its not as rare for a guy to be openly and comedically racist, transphobic, homophobic, and still talk about pokemon with me. But i dont feel comfortable just hanging out with a group of guys where i'm the only girl. I've never had irl girl friends.

How to get friends? I just feel guilty making cuz I'm a man and I'm retarded af and I'm afraid that I'm a burden for anyone interacting with me
You make friends by being a pleasant or amusing person to interact with and having something to offer others. Being a man has nothing to do with why you have trouble making friends, and I'd also venture to say it doesn't have much to do with being a retard either. Pleasant retards have plenty of retarded friends, as do unpleasant non-retards who are funny. You can't be unpleasant, unfunny, and a retard and expect people to want to be your friend.

I'm not saying "oh my life is harder because I'm a man" NO. What I'm saying is that I'm mentioning a man so the advice will be one that at least usually applies to men, it is not a complaint. I should have phrased it better

I edited my reply to you so it's a bit more specific now. Here's some site advice you didn't ask for: when you make a post, you should generally wait a while to post again, not only because some people edit their replies, but because you might get additional responses from other users.

maybe a discord server
Unless you know them really well, do not do this option. All you'll do is attract "female" sex pests. And even then, youd have to rule it with an iron fist to make sure your friends wouldn't invite anyone unsavory and make the group awkward (ask me how I know).

Who is she? I didn't get any context about her
For someone who calls themselves terminally online *, you need to work on your reading comprehension. kaldikhan, the poster right above you, said she's a foid looking to meet other foids.

* - I think I recall you saying that in another thread, my bad if it was someone else and I'm misremembering

If you mean other fellow moid friends, just find a dude who seems to have shared interests with you, say hello and talk about your common interests. If they don't like you they'll just block your ass or not reply, no need to worry that you're being "a burden" or other such stupid things.

Obviously, don't go around DM-ing everyone "sup bro wanna be friends", you'll end up with a reputation of being that guy who spams people. Make your judgement about who you think would make a good friend.

If you're into video games (which I assume most online young dudes are), you can just friend request someone you meet in game and talk to them, sounds crazy I know.

Edit: Wanted to add one thing, don't try to make friends with gooners/coomers and other such people. Nothing good will come of it, you'll just further brainrot yourself.

Moid here. I was lacking friends due to moving from one side of the country to another and some of my friends going nuts during Covid and not being people I wanted to associate with any more. So I needed to get more.

The advice that @controversial666 doesn't want to hear, but is correct, is to touch grass. Where do the kinds of people you want to hang out with go, and what do they do there? If you're a massive fucking nerd like me, the answer is "Play Warhammer 40,000". I'm not the biggest WH40k fan in the world, I like the lore but the tabletop game's a bit meh imo, but I bought a second-hand Necromunda gang off eBay and joined my local gaming club. Those people are my "tribe". They like the same music as me, they like the same videogames, so if I make a Skyrim or Metallica joke they get what I'm talking about and laugh, rather than looking at me like I have two heads if I tried that with normies. And a couple of guys there, and a couple of girls, I was particularly compatible with and we're good friends. And when I went to dinner or parties at their houses, I met other massive fucking nerds, some of whom are also friends.

If you have autism, like I do, you'll need to connect with other autists or people who hang around autists, like WH40k players. Then you can be yourself and nobody thinks you're weird. The important takeaway is that the activity is secondary to hanging out with compatible people. Yeah I'm playing toy soldiers, and it's fun, but being with other balding, paunchy, beardy dorks wearing t-shirts of the same obscure death metal bands I like is the real point of the exercise. You chat to your opponent as you roll dice and knock the little plastic dudes over, and even if you're a giant autist, if you're compatible with someone things will just happen.
