I don't understand how anyone is retarded enough to use kiwifarms dms for gooning when telegram, matrix, and even discord etc. exist.
The only reason to have a multi-person dm on kiwifarms is if you're all recovering gooners of some kind and the threat of leaks or other paranoia about admin funny-business keeps you honest. You should think of it as a panopticon.
I wasn't in the crab shack or whatever, and my multi-month dm history with a user was wiped in the crossfire. Several of those posts had hours of effort that went into them. If I hadn't manually saved several pages it'd all be gone.
Anyhow, never goon and always back up your dms.
Edit: not to imply that gooning went on in there; it's just a separate thought.
