Sometimes I wonder if Kaufman didnt get cancer he would of ended up in the WWF as a personality or a manager
ironically Latka isn't involved, Judd Hirsch's character has a serious discussion with a worker about the legitimacy of wrasslin
I'm not sure if Kaufman was even part of the cast at the time

I thought this was a shitpostt then googled it, JFC.

Better not let them go to Africa lest some Wesley Snipes dark brother tries to break their head open with a hammer for the gold inside.
honestly as Racist as I am thats pretty wholesome (and funny) Cody is truly an honorary nigga
Someone ask our checks notes Mexican/Japanese friend here what that has to do with Hulk Hogan?
its absolute nonsense and the fact they choose to disrespect Hogan makes the industry look bad, especially with all Hogan gave for it, even guys like Booker T and D-Von aren't dancing on the grave because they understand his contributions and saying a le naughty word because some scumbag was dicking your daughter down doesn't tarnish your legacy like how these Far-Left lunatics want it to.

Do Americans really lynch niglets because they wolf whistled at a white woman in a grocery store and then proceeds to shoot at the memorial of the niglet?

Kayfabe has been dead ever since that one San Francisco promoter
Roy Shire. Took me a while to recall the name.

His wikipedia page is amusing. The paragraph about a boxing "match" (that's the verbiage there) and this part

In 1984, a disgruntled Shire gave an interview to The Sacramento Bee in which he broke kayfabe by acknowledging all the matches he promoted were staged.

Kayfabe has been dead for a long time but at the same time it's strange how pro-wrestling relishes in how fake it is all the time these days.
That's every media nowadays that isn't a drama or documentary. Can a nigga just have camp played straight?

Anthony Bowens is dead to me. Any wrestler who does this loses any and all credibility with me immediately. If your only way to be interesting is to say “This here is the real part” you don’t belong in wrestling. I joked about when kayfabe died, in truth there’s newspaper articles from 1898 doubting wrestling and exposes that almost killed the New York Territory in the early 1900s. Regardless, you’re an irredeemable faggot if you pull the “this part of the show is a shoot” gimmick.

Finished listening to Cornette’s thoughts on Hulk. Few interesting points he brought up:

Hogan got over so quick because he studied top guys and immediately got it. It was fascinating to hear that by 1980-81 he was wrestling in front of sold out crowds.

While many see Hogan’s popularity died out in WCW, it was already fading by 91. I still think Warrior was the worst person to put over, but Vince had the right idea. Just the wrong person. Hogan just got caught in all the scandals and the transition to the New Generation era guys.

The nWo money train though, Hulk knew to go on that one. That 98 WCW contract was insane. Hogan/Rock, Hogan/Vince, and Hogan/Shawn. Kind of the last hits before Hulk hit the wall. That reality show was the starting point of Hulk’s decline. I kinda wish Hogan had said no and moved on to doing the occasional WWE/TNA appearance.

Good stuff by Cornette.

"I'm your PRIDE"
In other words, "I'm gay and you can't say anything bad about me because that's homophobic."

Raw opens with a Hogan tribute and Bischoff is there.

Damn that tribute video they did kinda made me teary eyed. I know I shouldn't make this into a WWE vs AEW thing but the most they should do on Dynamite is a graphic at least Tony Schiavone sending his condolences on air seems very half assed to me

I was a little kid back then, Warrior was very popular, he was absolutely the right guy to try and give a shot to besides Hogan. Hindsight is 20/20, but there was nobody else to try and go with in 1990 besides Warrior.

Both of their brains have been conditioned to be anti Hogan for 30 years, they couldn't help but use loaded terms. e.g. "ripped off" , "stole".

When Flair dies, they won't say he "stole" anything from Buddy Rogers.

Warrior was a huge draw as the IC champ. Anyone who says Bret pulled the sword out of the stone has deluded themselves via his workrate. Bret and Shawn, being at the top, almost put the company out of business.

this shits funny, sneak peek of unreal. HHH calls Nick Khan before calling any of the wrestlers involved and pitches him the idea first even when it's Cena Cody and Rock. Nick Khan runs this shit.

Nick Khan is probably the go-between for WWE and TKO. Triple H will run a big idea through him first and see if it's something the suits over at TKO would approve of. Also, this seems to confirm that Rock was the one who wanted Travis Scott because no way Triple H had that in his head from the start.

Jim was actually respectful towards Hogan compared to a lot of the people he shit on when they came out republican to him. Honestly I liked the video, Jim was fair and balanced and even he was sad at the grave dancing people were doing.
