My least autistic reply is: anatomical variants and chromosomal aberrations are inborn; transsexualism isn't.What are your all’s thoughts on this?
My more autistic reply concerns the notion of "objectivity" in Science. The word "objectivity" has at least two relevant sense here: true to an individual, and true to a group as a whole. Often the two senses are in conflict, and Science, through with averages and abstractions, privileges the latter sense, hence the "objective" models in textbooks don't exactly fit most individual cases. I won't delve into this, but you may read Oxford University Press's short pamphlet Objectivity - A Very Short Introduction
