To be fair, Karl Jobst did in fact claim Billy Mitchell caused Apollo Legend to kill himself, and should have retracted his claim immediately. Not raise legal funds under the pretense that it was about Billy being a video game cheater (which he is) and a vexatious litigant (which he is, but arguably not in this case).
Another case that comes to mind is Elliot Fong-Jones (or "Liz") who sued Vincent Chen of Flow Chemical for posts documenting Elliot's self-confession to rape (or a "consent accident") on the Kiwi Farms, even though he had nothing to do with us. He was retarded and didn't respond to the case at all, which got it all the way to a default judgment against him, but got it partially overturned before he gave up and accepted the outcome.

An article on netflix screwing customers that started like this got turned into this. It's amazing what you can get when thousands of people with too much time on their hands who are frustrated at getting fucked over by big companies come together. It's a crowdsourced consumer protection database.
You don't even need to log in or register to make edits, but that save you from dealing with captcha hell if we verify you after registering.
I am very satisfied at what this site is turning into. Eventually I am going to have a browser plugin that gives you an alert & a 1 sentence summary if you are on the webpage of a company that makes a device that screws you. It's going to be a lo of work, but eventually.
Nobody is doing this type of thing at the scale, breadth, & quality I want to see. because most review sites make all the money to pay contributors from ads, and most "influencers" care too much about being brand safe to be known as "that person"
billy on makemkv forum has a stockpile of these. i am convinced that he has a warehouse with 200,000 of them. he has it with the proper firmware if you do not want to do the hunting to make sure you get the right drive yourself.

All I can say is that it's not racist, genuinely that's the sentence pedophiles get in Australia even if they're white. I know someone victimized whose perpetrator was white, he got about 5 years. Perhaps there's a few good judges and magistrates in Australia, but I haven't encountered one yet. They really do seem to love rewarding the guilty and making life hell for victims, all the while acting holier than thou on the bench.

It seems like there's a lot of crap this guy may have been involved in, that he never served time for it.
I am debating taking the time for another deep dive. It's not just about this guy not screwing people over with that piece of software anymore. It's about all the other crap that he's probably going to try to do, if he gets away with this. There's a reason that people with that history are limited from opening computer-based businesses left and right when they get out of prison.
Between my new initiative, working on some health problems and working to get my business back to where it was before I completely burnt out and turned it into something respectable again, I really don't have all day to spend researching some Australian pedophile. But I can't help myself, but to keep following and figure out where this rabbit hole goes, it really doesn't stop.

He reused the password "r0fl3z" for a BwE account on psxscene.com (betterwayelectronics@gmail.com), script kitty and insipid.designs@gmail.com. Also shows up in a list for "pizzatechnology@gmail.com" which was used to register "skgroup" accounts on blackhatworld.com, Dropbox, and last.fm.
Encyclopedia Dramatica references the teamloosh.com domain which shows up tied to him in the breaches
Searching for insipid.designs@gmail.com shows a username I haven't seen mentioned before
It seems to be very common though so I couldn't really find anything.
Try harder: https://insipid.com.au - the fucker used the same ABN/registration details. I found this one a while ago and was waiting for the Lolcows page to come up to add.
