Am I being a grumpy oldfag for being irritated people call suspensions bans now? Because it really gets me a little top hat-ish seeing that. He was suspended people! Also he’s a faggot.

Does that mean they'll actually consider why Japan is basically a utopia compared to places like California or NYC? No. And if they get the ability to vote there, they'll just vote for the same shit that fucked things up elsewhere like when people flooded from NY and CA to parts of Texas and then started fucking that up.

I moved to Japan from the west as I am right-wing, but I actually like the culture, spending time with Japanese people, and doing Japanese stuff. But you are 100%, in Japan its based on a system of not causing trouble for others, so these rich people come over and live in a bubble with other rich Western people, never do much actual Japanese stuff but really just live as permanent tourists. For me, a big red flag is if your gf/wife is Japanese or foreign. The reason is that you have to go out of your way to meet foreign people while almost all the people you meet will be Japanese.
 
Hasan needs to get checked by somebody when he’s on somebody else’s live stream. Because he’ll act tough with all of his viewers around him. But in other peoples court, he’s a coward. Someone just needs to call him out on the fact that I don’t give a shit what your beliefs are is the fact you platform terrorist, and by doing that you possibly increase their numbers or you words can encourage violence.

He should, asmon is tremendously popular from being a lazy asshole and simply thinking smart on stream with quick responses/quips. He doesn't try, and what he is on camera comes naturally. Hasan tries, he puts in a lot of effort in doing things, building a brand in high effort ways. He's always going to be salty at asmon for not needing to try, for succeeding and surpassing him with minimal effort. In his rich boy worldview, where he was once the fat outcast, working out and trying hard while coming from a rich dad means he should be doing better than a poor loser like asmon and the fact that it's backwards and upside-down makes him seethe.
 
And of course it was the shortest ban in history. As far as I'm concerned Asmon's the only big person on Twitch who, love him or hate him, is at least aware of things somewhat, I don't know about XQC much but maybe him too.

Hasan thread regulars, when do you think he will get consequences for his crazy words? I'm not expecting it from Twitch, of course. I know he got some with the democratic convention and Pierce Morgan IIRC, but I'm wondering if he will just keep sliding through life as a thoughtless know it all forever?

The cynic in me says not for awhile. IMO, two things will cause it to happen. The first is someone younger and more charismatic will essentially take over and fill a similar slot, and the second is Hasan will start aging to the point where not even his diehard fans can delude themselves into thinking he's some kind of himbo. I imagine those two will go hand in hand, but aren't necessarily required to both happen.

Even then, I expect fairly minimal consequences. I expect he'll just sort of fade into obscurity, broadcasting to significantly smaller numbers, sometimes making the odd appearance as a D-list guest when it's a particularly slow news day and they're having trouble getting someone else loud to burn through a few minutes of a broadcast.

Yeah, its interesting that despite fighting on the axis side, Japan hasn't been marked for racial and cultural destruction like Germany and other European countries. I can only put it down to jewish influence not being as prevalent in Asia.
