I love these people who act like a child can in no way identify with the personality, struggle, or journey of a princess/cartoon character in general unless she's the same race as the child. Maybe a bit of powerleveling here but I used to work with kids in the 4 to 10 age group as a summer counselor. So I got to see them playing with dolls and shit pretty often. And none of them gave a flying fuck if their action figure had the same skin color or even the same in-show personality as them. More often than not I saw 'Cinderella' and 'GI Joe' becoming shit that the kids made up entirely on their own.

Realistically speaking though, this is probably just the creator projecting their current opinions on their childhood self. Another weird tumblrina thing I noticed. They like to pretend they were like 'always so socially aware even when they was a kiddie' and 'just didn't realize why they were feeling the feel then'. Meanwhile you look at actual kids and again, they don't care.

Also, who the fuck is that kid that Elsa is perving on? She looks like she hasn't even hit 16.

Yeah the tumblrinas who spout off the typical "kids can't relate to characters who don't look like them" is rather off considering most kids just play off and have no worries if their favorite princess is black or blonde or whatever. Also, I thought when you're a kid you're taught by parents and school the basic concept of tolerance "don't judge others on how they look, everyone's beautiful, their personality matters more"...But I guess nowadays that's a bad moral to teach to kids or something.

Sometimes I think SJWs/tumblrinas actually haven't talked to kids in years and are just parroting what some studies have shown, which would be accurate since almost all of these girls seem to just parrot each other's ideas.

If you're talking about the Elsa + Princess meet-up thing, I think that's Mulan. Because it isn't stereotypical AT ALL to have the most tomboyish princess in a semi-lesbian relationship, no sir...

Now that I think about it, as a kid and teenager, I always thought that the most insulting portrayals of women were in stuff like the Cathy comics. Where women are portrayed as over-emmotional, whiny headcases who will never like themselves and constantly fly off the handle or gleefully manipulative types like Cathy's mom and the saleslady. While the skimpy outfits and weird anatomy could get annoying, to me it was cool to see women do things like have adventures, stand up for themselves and kick ass. Maybe that's why I have a high tolerance to these things and feel like the odd woman out when I hear these ladies complain about these things.

To be fair, I'm not sure I'd let many of these people anywhere near children. So maybe its a good thing that they have no idea what the hell children are like, since it means they aren't near any kids to fuck up.

I will never understand how they so desperately spout that 'gender roles are bad u guise' but then proceed to label any female character with short hair who takes on masculine roles to be either a lesbian, trans, or both. I've heard damn near identical assumption insults from ultra-conservative anti-homosexual people when it comes to women acting non-traditional. Tumblr truly never fails to demonstrate the Horseshoe Theory.
