Are you talking about She-Hulk I don't really see too much seething. It's more of She-Hulk feels like a step down after both Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel as in her character kind of sucks after both Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel gave us likable characters who were enjoyable and you wanted to see succeed.

Well She-Hulk comes off very entitled and including the fact that the whole epsiode was her being offer to Bruce for no fucking reason and the audience post to side with her. I'm really hoping to see a episode where she gets her ass kicked so she stops being so full of herself. That's not something I had hoped for in the previous two shows.
There's a lot of seething offsite. Blowing up the "man hating" shit to a retarded degree. As a comedy series and MCU comedy generally being shit I don't exactly expect this to be a crowd pleaser by any means, but easily 60% of the dislike I see for it are for retarded reasons.

I see her shitty attitude as more rational; bitch legit doesn't want to be a Hulk, doesn't want to be a glorified mercenary, and is pissed that her cousin has zero empathy for it. Because the promos more or less already spoiled that she does become an active crimefighter that it's more or less a given that shit comes around to it, but in-universe her tantrums are justifiable enough.

AAAANYWAY I do expect my fondness of this to plummet once the actual "MCU action" kicks in. I genuinely wanted "Ally McBeal but she's a monster" and was disappointed to realize that's not what they're doing with this. I imagine this will be like Ms Marvel where I really like half of it and then hate the rest.

Well I'm generally hoping the show gets better.

The thing i didn't like was her implying being cat called is worse than what Bruce has gone through. That was pretty dickish and knowing the MCU heads I feel like we're post to agree with that. Is what I don't like.

Like I don't know a bad start for what it is post to be our main character. I really like how Marc Spectator and Kamala Khan were introduced as we got to understand them before their adventure began. Here I just didn't like her. I like her in the first minutes but than she grew unlikable for the rest of the epsiode. I'm hoping the character becomes likable by the end of the series.

I didn't see it as she implied she had it worse, but had her own shit going on that he wasn't privy to. By that point he had already dismissed her insistence she didn't want to Avenge repeatedly, and by that point she was just full-on sperging.

But yeah this. The entire reason I was excited for the shows replacing the origin movies was that they would flesh the characters out better over more time, and all of them thus far have been worse than the Phase 1 origins in terms of a well paced, character defining narrative. Ms Marvel came close, and then fell down the exact same retarded holes they always do. Formula's gotta get shaken.

I don't know I found Moon Knight was good especially as we got into the backstory of how Marc created Steven in the first place or the fact that Steven had to accept that their mother wasn't as sweet as he believed. Seriously I really did enjoy Moon Knight.

My main problem with MS. Marvel was the final episode with the final villain being some generic white lady agent I have seen in a ton of other fiction works. It sucks that the villain I actually like died in the epsiode before the finale.

Brain hurty.

Remember when we got over 9/11 like a year later?

Jesus Christ, what was the point of the 5 year timeskip and insistence on not using time travel to make it *never* happen if they weren't going to let it have consequence? I get it, comic book logic, but even in the comics the world/galaxy didn't just go on for five more years after the snap IIRC.

Lord knows you NEVER hear anyone ever talk about Hiroshima or the Holocaust or anything these days. People were over that stuff in like a month…

I decided to read Sensational She-Hulk Vol. 2 (that's John Byrne's run for my lovely nerds at home) to give me the courage and see this shitfest. It only made things worse. Shulkie isn't just hilarious in Byrne's issues. Every time she mentions Bruce she does it with reverence. They were close enough that she went mad when the Avengers killed him in Civil War 2 for fuck's sake. And now we have this. Guess what motherfuckers? I have been here before and I'm a month ahead because when the She-Mail came it just confirmed Jessica Gao is the most creatively bankrupt person working in show bussiness today. Just fucking go watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo. It's Sensational.

Out of all the crap that the MCU has shat out I'll give Moon Knight one thing. It had one of the best mother-effin soundtracks in the entire MCU. I am so glad they didn't go with Laura Karpman who seems to be scoring everything on MUC Disney+ these days, but Hesham Nazím owned that shit and then some. His other work, like Diamond Dust is top quality too.

That Daredevil is supposedly making an appearance in She-Hulk has revived my worries about the new Daredevil series sucking dick.
Considering the amount of cope articles and stories about MCU people saying "Oh, a lighthearted Daredevil could totally work!" there is no doubt in my mind it is going to suck dick.

TBF, Charlie Cox himself talked about it.

Here's my pitch for a generic MCU lawyer comedy.

"If you've been injured in the Battle of New York or by Ultron, you may be entitled to compensation."

Shulkie starts off as one of the lawyers trying to sue Stark Industries in one of the many Personal Injury cases the Avengers have caused, gets into an accident, gets Banner's blood and at the end of episode one, heel turns and becomes a lawyer specializing in Superhero Law. The rest of season 1 is her setting up a small insurance company that specializes in Superhero liability and trying to negotiate monetary compensation for all the PI and collateral damage superheroes cause.

I don't think the Karen writers have even watched daytime commercials if they didn't go with this angle.

I went to watch Dragon Ball Super film last night and they had the new Black Panther film trailer. It felt like the Stonetoss comic:
> How is showing a black woman giving birth underwater promote our new super hero film?
> Super hero?
I got boomer female relatives who genuinely think simply because women get preggers and shit out babies they're stronger than men. Nevermind being preggers and shitting out babies is entirely different from hard physical activity and/or labor in extremely dangerous conditions.

So for me this shit is too fucking old.

TBF, "would you rather have a long-running role in the MCU or bow out because you disagree with a PG-13 Daredevil" is a bit of a non-choice. He doesn't seem like the type to take a strong stance, like say, John Bernthal.
