Nobody cared about the edits you were suggesting. Nobody cared at all. The problem wasn't that, and I've explained this to you, all of the mods that were active had, the issue was you editing E2M1 without the mapper's permission. You were told this. You were told this multiple times. It was made incredibly clear to you, to the point where we put you in timeout so you wouldn't post and fuck yourself over into a ban. Unfortunately(???), you then proceeded to shit up the timeout channel by basically calling yourself a messiah of Doom mapping that would change the entire paradigm of how Doom maps would be made for years to come. Don't pretend like your shoehorning in of Realm667 actors into a map that was already pretty nice visually was the issue, it was the complete lack of permission while acting as if your edits were objective improvements that the mapper should accept to make their maps better. All of this could have been prevented if you had just asked the mapper if they were looking for suggestions, but ya didn't, and here we are now because of it.

Whatever buddy, Spin whatever tale you like to make yourself look good. It was the fucking roots and you know it, because every single one of you didn't even CONSIDER it, simply screaming about the mere idea of adding it, even though it was completely within the rules. I have problems with them because I have grown deathly bored of them. It is the same shit, over and over again. And this leads to some very agrivating maps that simply throw down monsters and blocks to the player's progress for the sake of doing so. At that point, the map becomes nothing but a fucking nuisance, so you just cheat your way through it hoping the next map won't be such a shitshow. Even the most well-received cacowards are victim to this.

This is better than cable television.

Considering that you're reaction to me asking, not stating, something, I can't help but feel like I chipped a nerve.

sarais's actions are some of the most embarrassing things I've seen in the doom community in a long time. Its extra amusing because he's going to continue to carry all of this until someone finally steps in and bins this thread (and even then he'll probably just take it elsewhere), rather than try to calm down and maybe attempt to try to recover anything (though its most likely too late for that). I honestly have never seen sarais in action before, and this exceeded all my expectations.

It wasn't enough for them to treat your mapping like cat food, but they also feel the need to treat you like kitty litter. Doomworld has a storied history of being like this. You show up with something to offer, and then some smug idiot just responds with "Well, look at what the cat dragged in..." It's absolutely maddening that this is allowed to happen, and sometimes even encouraged by it's moderators who also respond with catty remarks.

To you Doomworld jerks:  stop playing cat and mouse with all the new posters here. You'll never expand if you continue to act this way if every newcomer feels like a cat on a hot tin roof when posting here. Insults fly around like cats and dogs, and all it does is push away people who could actually CONTRIBUTE to this place.
