My gran used to teach me how to do stuff like quilts and cushions, but I wanted to go beyond that and learn by hand since I dont have any fancy equipment like a machine or anything anymore. I figure it would help me in a lot of things like clothing and crafting/building fursuits.

I could try. I think what would help me best is if I could get assistance from experienced professionals when buying and using all the materials needed to make one. Like knowing which fur to get, how to sculpt foam to get a smooth shape that doesn't look too jagged, getting measurements done, and all that jazz. But that's something that's still out of my financial reach

It’s the end of the month. I didn’t have the money to, but I knew I could cut it out if next month’s food budget and I really was hungry and wanted to just have something nice for once. So I bought myself $20 of sushi. I was walking up the stairs and fell and all of it popped open on the ground. It took me a solid 5 minutes in the bathroom not to cry and I didn’t have anything else on me except a grapefruit. I am so sad and hungry.

So many rich people go “undercover” to work for minimum wage and then write a book about it or go on a talk show. You know what they don’t have? The pressure to know that they won’t be able to go back to their lives with health insurance and a working car and a place that you own and you know you can’t get kicked out of.
