there's a product i really wish someone would make. all i really need is about 20 or 30 MHz of computing power, and maybe 64 or 128 MB of memory. but i want it reliable. i wish a company would make little pluggable blocks of compute-and-disk, each one with its own power supply, storage, memory, and compute. and you'd buy say three of them and plug them together and they'd all execute in parallel and vote. and if one failed they'd route around it. and you could just keep buying more as the blocks failed or as you wanted more redundancy.
