And for me, someone who never bought into this whole SJW culture as it arose.... it was not hard to see this developing into what it has today. The problem is we live in a world where everyone wants to do something good. So they see this following of people who are calling out others but refuse to see their own wrong doing, and even call someone a nazi for not agreeing with them or their path that they have now gotten themselves into. God forbid they change their minds and loose all the people they have around them for even learning what is really going on from others on the outside of this "movement".
I would hardly call this a movement, because with any founded movement, you must have an end goal, a direction that is the focus of your reasoning for why you joined up in the first place...... and when you question any of these people... you get harrassed, bullied and scorned....... all because you asked them what the reason was for their following the movement.
All because you questioned their authority. Their direction..... they have none. They never did.
It's all become one virtue signaling forest fire that's never been kept in check.
