i dunno if the cultural significance of Weird Stuff can be summed up by just its web page. :-P it was... a place where you could go and just revel in the fact that on one shelf there might be an entire printed set of old HPUX manuals, and on the next shelf there might be a bunch of cheap point-and-shoot film cameras, and on the next shelf there might be circuit boards you can't even identify or guess as to the purpose of, and on the next shelf there might be disassembled pieces of mannequins, and the next shelf would be filled entirely with 10 megabit, half-duplex ethernet *hubs* (not switches, hubs), and on the next shelf there would be some weird piece of industrial machinery, and ... etc.
