What mich folf said is very true. I will also add that Most ERS now will not give pain meds out like candy. We only have one doctor where I work that will give Dilaudid.... and you better have something that looks like torsion before she even thinks about it. But ive seen doctors not even treat pain in er because the opioid epidemic is so massive. When people check into the er in pain, it is assumed by most staff that the person is a drug seeker until proven otherwise.

i'd love folks' opinions on something. i don't have a generator yet, but i have to plan ahead now and decide which circuits should be generator-protected, eventually. obviously stuff like fridge and lights should be, and obviously stuff like air conditioning shouldn't be.

i'm sort of leaning towards less rather than more. like, i was thinking along the lines of "kitchen outlets will be protected, but not living room. if there's a power outage and you just HAVE to keep watching that movie, well, you can run an extension cord to the living room". cuz... power outages aren't supposed to be routine. they're supposed to be a little inconvenient. they're supposed to interrupt your day.

is that too draconian of an approach? would it really be better to say "all the outlets are protected, just, in the event of a power outage, please be mindful of how many amps you draw no matter where it is in the house"?

the main thing i know is that if you go with propane, it doesn't matter if you have a big oomphy generator and a big oomphy propane tank, there's a strictly liminted rate at which the liquid propane can evaporate off the surface area of what's in the tank, and supply the generator with gas to run on.

so it's very possible for a generator to die even if there's plenty of generator capacity left and plenty of propane left in the tank, if it's a cold day and the amount of amps you're trying to draw exceeds the rate at which the propane feels like evaporating right at the moment.

Fridges have priority in the case of a long outages, as most power equipment malfunctions that occur locally are usually fixed in the same day. In the case of a large earthquake, you'll want the fridge on the backup as food supply may be complicated during a large event. If you have gas stoves the lines may also become damaged in the case of an earthquake, so having the microwave as a backup for heating food isnt a terrible idea despite the massive draw that they normally take.

They also had a small dog who was taken back by rightful owner and the VERY next day the person with the pit bulls complained "look they're starving him his ribs are showing!!!! " that was 10 hours after the dog was taken away. So if a healthy fat.dog cam become skin and bones in 10 hours... I want to take what the dog took! I could be skinny in 1 day!

I underwent a starvation phase for two years.

Its very bad for the body, in the cases of people being so wrong they wont be right, bring a second opinion to the table to show your numbers.

Next month ill have one. Run on 1lb propane cylinders. Too bad I don't know any locals with a HOUSE. 3.50 for 1 tank but if I were to know someone to hold a 20LB tank then I could refill the 1lb several times. I think here its less than 20 bucks for a 20 pound tank so that's less than a buck per pound. 20 1lb tanks would cost about 40 dollars.

It also runs on 8oz butane fuel cylinders but I don't know what brick store sells it and though it says you can buy online it is prohibited from shipping to my brothers apartment or even my commercial based mailbox. My guess is either ships to a house or just illegal in the county altogether.

Well Mar 1st makes it official when I am DONE with my brother. Debating if inshould still do car work for pay for him or make him pay double or more AND have to spend their time getting work done. Fuckin ruined my life! First he abuses me BAD all my childhood and then as adult he steals thousands from me. Was hoping he would have the heart this tax season to pay back some of what he took but only 2 days left till Mar and he hasn't! Maybe I'm wrong, maybe now you can't get anything till March so correct me if that's the case but he would always get it in Feb a nice chunk early. In would take him to small claims but that goes against my religion. He will get what he deserves one day...also goes against to celebrate with joy for his misfortunes but right now its 50 50 either way if I feel joy or sorrow.

Already have one. When they saw how severe mine was I got mine less than a month later. Problem is no AC power. A CPAP battery is $400 and id need two and to have someone charge one at all times. For same price the other options is to install a aux battery in my car and wire to the alternator. Already designed the circuit board id need to do that but again that's several hundred bucks.

One option is direct DC power or another is inverter. For inverter just modify a 100 dollar UPS to run off constant battery. Already know how it would wire up and be Actualy fun to solder the circuit board in the car. Hehe. But no money so bleh. Just have to always be tired until that one night where I never wake up.

The circuit I designed should I ever do it. It will wire up to the car in 3 places as well as the aux battery to charge the aux nut also isolate from the main yet at the same time still charge up aux with engine off.
