Screw it heres the thing. I can't get SNAP because I already get income from government because I cannot work due to physical injury that I suffered from getting hit by a car. And since its low income that isn't enough to survive by oneself I'm trying to get into a low income apartment but as any bay area fur would know there is crazy high demand and saddening low supply. In the mean time since Jan 1st I live in my sedan which is way more expensive than I thought. I have a human friend who lets me shower regularly so I'm clean, I have access to laundry so clean clothes, I have a storage unit so you could see me in my car and never know its my home. So with gas, car fluids, laundry, storage and my already massive debt (thanks to a family member) I'm screwed. I just don't have enough to survive each month and so I'm getting deeper into debt. This month I've exhausted all my resources and the phone is all I have left to sell so I just don't know. I'm going to the food banks I can but with no access to cooking there's not much help with what they give. My car cannot drive over 50MPH because the tires are way beyond worn and both my CV joints need attention. So no access to highway eats up more gas. I've found one tank of gas lasts four days. So, please don't judge, I'm just down on my luck. Still a wolf with feelings like any other fur so PLEASE no hurtful comments :(

You know what... You're right! However in mean time can't do anything because id have to find someone to take everything to donate or keep or trash because I still meed my small unit here so my car isn't packed. I don't want to dare risk my car for that trip. Before it can go on any highway I need to inspect and possibly relube and seal the CV joints or replace them plus need tires. To rent a car they charge a stupid $200 deposit.

there's a thought experiment that i find interesting: i'm outraged by stuff that's 18+, stuff that's 21+, and stuff that's 30+, because the implication is that being over that age is a *good* thing. but what if there was a support group for geriatric furries that said you have to be over 70? because you might be discussing erectile dysfunction or worse, and people might be too embarrassed to open up if there were younger people present.

Well that was mildly infuriating — I couldn't figure out why Telegram kept vanishing with no crash and no error. I finally figured out that I had somehow pinned the Chrome app version of it to my quicklaunch rather than the desktop application and that every time I disabled all the extensions in Chrome it was killing the app.

A few years ago I went to the doctors for an issue with my hand. They took an xrays. What I came in for was all good but they asked when did I brake my finger. I told them never but they said there was a full break that healed. Then I remembered a few months earlier I hurt my finger real bad but never went to get it checked. i'm re-looking at majik's original picture. something about the "man-up" slogan and the design of the poster triggered some pattern recognition for me. i think sometimes people try to tie in to men's desire to be more masculine, and use that desire as a hook to try to get them to be better people. like, they try to re-frame things in people's minds so that they start thinking of "dealing with anger in a different way than hitting your wife" as a manly, masculine thing.

Thats very true. It makes me happy how accepting furries can be, but I do feel it can go a little too far sometimes, and we can enable people that are actually harmful to the community. I do still see the acceptance as a great thing though. It's the double ended sword of any such situation. More radical freedom and acceptance tends to enable more good and bad, and it's hard to get rid of all the bad without also destroying the good parts.

i dunno. i kind of feel like it's just layering complexity on top of complexity. like... we have miniature physical keyboards. they exist. phone makers could be including them in their hardware.

depending on how cynical you are, there's also the theory that if they make "consuming media" easier than "composing text" then people will tend to do the former more than the latter, and you end up with a more compliant, receptive population who is less used to thinking for themselves.

10 miles away and I get 18MPG. Could go up to 19 or 20 of I get the freakin fuel leak fixed but need a special fuel vapor hose. A teeny one.
