well, in that case i'm going to challenge that assertion a bit -- one thing i struggle with is the fact that nobody seems to like poetry, or "singing/playing music for fun, not to be professional", or puns in foreign languages, or weird art films.

and i've kind of gone back and forth as to whether i try to suppress those parts of myself (in order to fit in better) or let them out.

i've been in more of a "let them out" mode lately, and i don't think you've bitten, much. which... well, fair enough, if none of the weird things i like are things that you find stimulating, then that's valid. but it's not that i haven't been trying. it's just maybe bad luck that none of them have worked so far.

All of those except for playing music are things that maybe I can talk about if I'm really invested in one particular example but from an entry point I don't latch onto well. Mainly because... Yeah, symbolism.

Music depends on your definition of fun. Fun to me is playing my best or breaking some new boundary in music, and I don't think players who are just learning sometimes offer me the opportunity to do that. Hence why I said I'd prefer bands of a little higher skill level

well, okay. i guess i was trying to say that, *in general*, i think stimulation kind of works both ways. the people providing it have to be able to provide it, but also you have to actually recognize when it's being offered to you and then ask the questions and make the being-stimulated part happen from your end.

And one of the things i really wished KDE neon could do is do an auto day/night mode.

KDE has this thing called LookAndFeel and their two presets were a dark and light theme

So i created a bash script to check the time and change the theme according to the time, it also creates a text file to keep track of the last theme so it knows if it needs to restart the shell or not. Since when you are changing from a light to dark theme, plasmashell might not work correctly so it needs to restart the shell.

OK. So the plan for Saturday (today!) is we meet at 3:00 PM at the parking lot of Fremont Older preserve, in Cupertino. Then we walk for a couple of hours or however long we feel like. I'll have trail maps printed out so we can judge how long of a walk we're in the mood for and figure out a path accordingly. And then afterwards, we head to Rok Steakhouse in San Jose. :-)

One option is to reduce the acetomiophen (sp?) below 1000 mg/day and add aspirin. They can work safely together, and operate on different principles and I find that they can be effective together.
