<2021-04-03T16:10:02.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: have a question since you're working on a dub
<2021-04-03T16:10:45.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: how do you separate the sound effects and music so you can change just the language track
<2021-04-03T16:11:00.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: because my autism has bugged me about Black Lagoon forever
<2021-04-03T16:11:46.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: in the episodes where they're in Japan the yakuza speak english unless they're around balalalaika then you have an english VA doing the japanese translation and it sounds all fucked up
<2021-04-04T01:02:49.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: sheeeeeeit
<2021-04-04T01:07:14.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: I figured you were the edit autist
<2022-07-25T14:56:42.000Z> loghdub: So your post, you ride bikes. I got my motorcycle license a bit ago, but still looking for a decent starter bike and practice spaces. I'm not confident riding.
<2022-07-25T14:56:44.000Z> loghdub: @what would you suggest?
<2022-07-25T15:01:38.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: I do my damnedest to convince people NOT to get motorcycles, as you put your life in the hands of drunk illegal spics, women looking at their phones, and niggers. My brother Smokey got thrown off his bike at a stop sign by a woman doing 60. My brother Werewolf lost his leg when a semi turned in front of him. I myself was thrown off when some retard in a mustang hit me. As long as you're ok with the prospect of maiming and death I can tell you what I ride and how I ride it. Obviously you know as well as I that God takes His servants at His good pleasure but a lot can happen between Point A and B if you take my meaning.
<2022-07-25T15:02:30.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: I've ridden American V-twin cruisers exclusively
<2022-07-25T15:03:53.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: I've ridden the length of the American south east, Florida to Texas, up into Illinois and the Midwest. A conservative estimate on miles logged in the last ten years is probably 70-80k
<2022-07-25T15:04:28.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: A lot of miles are just because I'm poor and focus on keeping the scoot running at the expense of the trucks I've owned
<2022-07-25T15:05:16.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: If you were to buy an American bike like I've ridden I'd say look at Sportsters, they're the best made bikes that Harley makes. If I had the money I'd get an Indian
<2022-07-25T15:08:17.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: Always wear a helmet, gloves, boots, and jeans minimum. My bro 2nd Hand just got a lot of road rash after hitting a deer doing 70. Jackets are optimal, heavy leather is good but kevlar would be great. I can't manage jackets in the dogshit days of summer. Reverse wind-chill is too much sometimes
<2022-07-25T15:17:11.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: Ive ridden in pretty extreme weather conditions as well but if you're not a poorfag you shouldn't have to do that very often
<2022-07-26T13:05:39.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: Also never ride with a chick on your mind
<2022-07-26T23:13:18.000Z> loghdub: Haha, that seems like useful advice. I'll keep the rest in mind. I know I'm not ready to truly ride yet. And yeah, I understand the risks, that's part of why I wanted one - need to break out of my cowardice choice paralysis. And I have plenty of people to ride with who can keep me from doing something stupid.
<2022-07-26T23:15:05.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: be careful riding in a formation that's too tight also. It's the most stressful part of a ride with an MC. Not saying that you're joining one of course
<2022-07-26T23:15:13.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: staggered is easiest
<2022-07-26T23:15:24.000Z> loghdub: Makes sense.
<2022-07-26T23:18:12.000Z> Ottovonshitpost: also getting into a wreck is not a possibility, it's an inevitability. Might be something as easy as dropping your bike or it might mess you up pretty bad. It'll probably happen within 3-6 months of you starting to ride. You'll start to feel like hot shit on wheels and begin to disrespect your bike and surroundings
<2022-07-26T23:25:00.000Z> loghdub: Right. I've been told that a drop in the first 6 months of riding is a 100% possibility before, so I am prepared for that mentally.
