<2022-09-02T15:54:54.000Z> eidein@tchort.institute: Dear Null. I don't know if you will see this; if not, I am a friend of Nick Rekieta's and have asked him to forward this message to you, if you do not see it.I work at a major tech company that you've definitely heard of, but one which you probably have not previously had significant interactions. (I don't want to dox myself here, but can verify and disclose the company through secure channels). I just popped my head into the corporate-responsibility channel in work chat and I see the communists talking about kiwifarms! Specifically, they are trying to get a critical mass of employee-activists to start a pressure campaign. They want our management to put pressure on Cloudflare to drop KF.I'm not sure what kind of pressure we can put on CF. We pay them a lot of money every year, but we do that for a critical business purpose and we couldn't just stop. I'm also not sure how willing my company's leadership is to waste political capital on something like that. But this development surprised me. I've seen a lot of these communist hate mobs form over the years at work in tech companies, but every time prior there was some kind of plausible business purpose to justify it. This incident, on the other hand, would have absolutely no plausible business justification beyond the generic "well, it would look really bad if you weren't aggressively on the right side of history, wouldn't it". This feels like an escalation of insanity, and I thought you might want to know about it.Below is the initial comment, replicated in full save my employer's name being redacted. I will follow up if anything more actionable develops.> What discussion, if any, has taken placed [sic] over Cloudflare and their refusal to take down KiwiFarms? KF has been directly responsible for at least 2 suicides, and many doxxing and swatting events. They are actively and effectively targeting people of transgender experience, with the stated intent of badgering them into taking their own lives. There are mulitple news sources reporting on this, as well as extensive conversation within online transgender communities. What is [REDACTED]'s stance on this? Are we able and willing to exert pressure on Cloudflare? Who in Sr. Leadership should we be talking to about this?Anyways, I don't know that there's much to do about this, but I'm trying to do my part. I like your site and I find your stubborn dedication to free speech to be very inspiring. I know you probably don't get a lot of appreciation for what you do, but I appreciate your contribution to the universe. Take care, and have a good day

<2022-09-02T18:50:06.000Z> josh: but in general the more people who are stubborn the better things will be, and people are more likely to join in unison than risk being the first
<2022-09-02T18:50:23.000Z> josh: like you assume you're the only normal person at work but chances are that tranny is just emboldened to say whatever and everyone else is afraid to contradict
