<2022-06-05T02:01:24.000Z> Charlie: I've got a significant amount of money in the bank right now that I'm planning on using to buy a house in the next few months (although with the market and everything might decide to wait). If you still need money for that project, convince me to spend it on you instead.
<2022-06-05T02:03:59.000Z> graf: no way -- buying a house is much more important, this project will be fine friend but thank you for thinking of us
<2022-06-05T02:05:38.000Z> Charlie: Thank you, although I could probably do both tbh, I have about $115k in the bank plus another ~10k in investments and other places, so if you need a bit to get you over the top let me know.
<2022-06-05T02:05:53.000Z> graf: thank you I will consider this
<2022-06-05T02:06:12.000Z> graf: the idea is simple, it's an ephemeral privacy focused way for users to share the address with people they dont necessarily trust online
<2022-06-05T02:06:42.000Z> Charlie: the address?
<2022-06-05T02:06:59.000Z> graf: sorry, their* address
<2022-06-05T02:07:22.000Z> graf: basically you would pay for credits that give you the ability to generate ephemeral serial number based addresses that you can present to someone as a QR code
<2022-06-05T02:07:48.000Z> graf: they present that QR code, able to be read by fedex and etc other places easily, in place of the users address
<2022-06-05T02:08:01.000Z> graf: that way the person you present it to has no idea of the final destination
<2022-06-05T02:08:17.000Z> Charlie: Oh that's a fantastic idea
<2022-06-05T02:08:33.000Z> graf: the only concern I have right now is figuring out how to make it easily estimate-able for cost for places like fedex, etc. but im in the planning stage right now
<2022-06-05T02:08:50.000Z> graf: I needed funding initially to make a prototype so I can present it to carriers
<2022-06-05T02:10:19.000Z> graf: anyway that being said -- it will likely be a year at minimum before i have anything i can present to anyone but we have developers on board and everybody that I spoke to about it agrees that its a market that a lot of people dont necessarily need but would prefer
<2022-06-05T02:10:42.000Z> Charlie: I would avoid branding this with the dissident political label to start off (obviously). A great starter project would be the Reddit secret santa they do each year. I participated back in my earlier days. Basically each user gets assigned a random person and gets their address to send a gift, would be a huge ready market for you, at least for once a year.
<2022-06-05T02:10:53.000Z> graf: yes thats the idea behind it
<2022-06-05T02:11:02.000Z> graf: I'm not going to tie it into poast at all, but I will suggest it to people
<2022-06-05T02:15:15.000Z> Charlie: Keep me posted, if you need a reference for me talk to Nike or the Antelope Hill crew. I'm not super active on here, so if you have anything urgent reach out on my Telegram @NathanielSC or Threema: E9EV858X
<2022-06-05T02:22:32.000Z> graf: sure I wont use telegram but a user on here got me on threema so I will keep that in mind, thanks
