<2022-06-17T03:41:33.000Z> hazlin: most people on poast (or even adjacent instances) seem to be experts in one field or another xD
<2022-06-17T03:42:42.000Z> hazlin: though, for some reason, most are Electrical Engineer xD
<2022-06-17T03:51:45.000Z> deprecated_ii: it's a high density collection of interesting people, certainly
<2022-06-21T21:19:30.000Z> hazlin: How broken is it?
<2022-06-21T21:22:04.000Z> hazlin: Rather, sometimes it is end user fixable, like if the drain is backed up, putting a shop vacuum on the exit can be enough to get it cleared and running again
<2022-06-21T21:22:30.000Z> hazlin: that is like a more than 50% of the time kind of problem, so I thought I'd mention it
<2022-06-21T21:26:55.000Z> deprecated_ii: some electrical problem I haven't pinpointed yet, possibly just a bad or dirty contactor
<2022-06-21T21:27:19.000Z> deprecated_ii: it was working fine yesterday
<2022-06-21T21:34:05.000Z> hazlin: An electrical issue, like, the condenser motor wont come on?
<2022-06-21T21:56:18.000Z> deprecated_ii: nothing even pretends to turn on at the outside unit, not so much as a hum, but I have 240V up to the contactor. so, I checked continuity through the contactor a few minutes ago and it appears to be an open circuit when the contactor is "closed". maybe there's a dead bug in there stopping one side from touching, I can't really tell yet. I'm going to pull it out and see what's up, and I'll probably bypass it to see if things start up that way
