<2021-09-10T18:55:42.000Z> Vasta218: In life is deathIn death is lifeYet the duration, Oh so rifeWe small twigsContemplate bigWhile rich rot oaksThink not at allSome of our wellAnd warmest thoughtsCome from beyond Any four wallsLike how our Nation's father b'lievedHe did not tell a lieWhere nation sits, cherry tree felledSplintered in all our eyes
<2021-09-10T18:55:50.000Z> Vasta218: I'm vibing something like this
<2021-09-10T18:57:36.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: Holderlin would be proud brother, this is great stuff
<2021-09-10T18:58:58.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: Rhyming scheme is A+ very subtle
<2021-09-10T18:59:28.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: Is this your full submission? If not, you can email us at tpswritesubs@protonmail.com
<2021-09-10T19:00:08.000Z> Vasta218: Dreams of another nation, Washington had a dream but didn't think of the consequences, something like this. The big dog rich are all coming down in time, we just need to form a fasces, as a switch alone is only good as a tool for the father to correct, yet the bible says of how we speak of splinters in the brothers' eye when we have whole logs. Space cadet stuff
<2021-09-10T19:03:46.000Z> Vasta218: and yes, this is all I have at the moment, may credit "~R.V." and make any changes you wish. Just a snippet until I can cook up a real dish, about maybe some Ernst Juenger, Martin Heidegger, Alexander Dugin, Carl Schmitt, something like this.
<2021-09-10T19:06:28.000Z> Vasta218: I also have a Neo-Folk song submission

<2021-09-10T19:50:56.000Z> Vasta218: files.catbox.moe/rp8u80.mp3 give this one a go. The Forest Passage of Juenger, A Light Shining In Darkness, Doom to Bloom Maybe this one will pair better with the theme of the Introductory issue.
<2021-09-10T21:25:14.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: That song is absolutely fantastic man. Something you could throw on in the car at sunset and have an aesthetic drive. We've scheduled it for Saturday, Sep. 18th. Really think people will like this a lot.
<2021-09-10T21:25:28.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: btw, do you want your artist name to be Vasta or something different?
<2021-09-10T21:44:31.000Z> Vasta218: Vasta, yes. "A Light Shining In Darkness" lol, named after Joshua Graham's gun in Fallout: New Vegas, haha. The song represents a journey we all go through, the ennui, boredom, malaise, ennui, anhedonia. The second verse movement repeats, only a little dirtier, a little angrier. Then the bridge passage 7th chord resolve, a light shining in the darkness, into the triumphant and ecstatic hyperborean black metal of a new dawn. Haha, at least that's my own sperg heady interpretation. My writing process is quite convoluted. I reach some sort of "Limit Experience" or approach one, at least, and immediately record the riff, no matter how short. Then months or sometimes years later I revisit it, often asking "Where was I at for that!? I can't believe I wrote that. Then I layer myself with where I am at at the time. Concourse, conversation, with my past self or selves. Haha.
<2021-09-10T23:20:49.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: If you don't mind, I'll put some of your explanation in the text of the song post. I can clean it up a little bit, I think the readers will enjoy knowing your thought process behind the song.
<2021-09-10T23:29:27.000Z> Vasta218: Happy to contribute some magnitizdat!
<2021-09-10T23:44:00.000Z> Vasta218: And yes, absolutely, trim down, take away whatever you like. I have full confidence reading your guys' stuff before you won't axe me a qweschin and your/you're me or anything like that! Myself, I...use ellipses too much, commas, lol. Something from "Divers Hands" is best, but coupled with some Democratic Centralism. A great collectives function with a clear org chart, like all the best bands are functionally dictatorships, lol.
<2021-09-10T23:44:25.000Z> Vasta218: *All
<2021-11-21T02:50:21.000Z> Vasta218: etherpad.org/ I just had a great idea of a whole collab with contributors, of a shared story where we each add to it, like working on a google doc
<2021-11-21T02:51:01.000Z> Vasta218: It would foster teamwork, and friendship! Lol for real though
<2021-11-21T02:54:54.000Z> Vasta218: "Etherpad is an open-source, web-based collaborative real-time editor, allowing authors to simultaneously edit a text document, and see all of the participants' edits in real-time, with the ability to display each author's text in their own color. There is also a chat box in the sidebar to allow meta communication."
<2021-11-21T06:08:51.000Z> thepeoplessamizdat: Oh shit this is a great idea. A Poast short story would be a big hit lol if we can organize it efficiently. I'll pass this on to Hunter too and we'll look into it. Thanks for sending it over bro!
<2021-11-21T06:12:23.000Z> Vasta218: Was reading H.P. Lovecraft collaborations, specifically "Two Black Bottles", set in Norway. Great short tale, written with a "Wilfred Blanch Talman" but it was great and I was like "TPS should do this...how? Oh!" Haha
