<2021-08-12T17:29:43.000Z> TheRealist: I grew up in Louisville Kentucky.  Much of what I heard was second hand from my parents, but it was still fresh in their minds.   They both grew up in the West End of Louisville.  They had friends and neighbors such as Foster Brooks and Paul Horning as well as many prominent doctors, lawyers and businessmen.  The schools were good and neighborhoods were strictly segregated.  Shortly after desegregation was ordered, a nigger realtor showed up knocking on the doors saying “we’re here you want to sign up now.  The area quickly turned Black and became riddled with crime.   The working class people there mostly moved South and the wealthy moved East.
