<2022-01-23T04:06:59.000Z> Terrah_3: Hi! I wanted to send in an email to the Godcast, but I have a proton mail account. This was the email: My husband has been listening to y'all for awhile and I just started listening to you in the last few months :) I really appreciate your dedication to God's Word and the truth it provides. Anyways, I wanted to get y'alls opinion. Recently, in normie Christian women circles, all they can talk about is the Redeeming Love movie, which is basically a soft porn fictional portrayal of the book of Hosea set in the 1850s Gold Rush. It's got all the attributes, plus evil themes of incest and rape, but it's "Christian", because it's based on a book in the bible. It's based on a book of the same name. I've looked into the author, Francine Rivers, and she just screams Jewish subversion, as this book is so very popular with both young and mature believers, and is supposed to "bring Jesus' love to people who've never experienced it". She used to write erotica before she converted and now she writes Christian romance novels. I know y'all talk about the effects of porn on men, but the "soft porn" contained in romance novels, even Christian romance novels, is so pervasive, yet it's so accepted. As someone who has struggled with the soft porn of romance novels, how can I help fellow sisters in Christ, both married and single, to see this subversion and the potential harm it can cause to fellow female believers? Thank you and God Bless!
