<2021-09-23T22:15:48.000Z> Tepid_Tapir: When talking about dog fighting, I find that there's 2 main distinctive types: Cajun rules, where there's strict rules and regulations to follow, and what I lovingly refer to as 'street' rules, where there are no rules. You will likely never see a dog of the former, they're locked down tight. Even that Mike Vick case was street rules. They are two very different worlds but generally when people are talking about dog fighting or the news is covering a case, it's probably going to be 'street' fighting.

<2021-09-23T22:20:45.000Z> Tepid_Tapir: So for the sake of this conversation I'll be talking about the ghetto street fighting. Also I do want to point out that during Obama's term he greatly criminalized discussions of blood sports online, so since 2016/7 a lot of the places I would get my info from went quiet and today I have very limited avenues of intel. From what I've seen though the gist of it stays the same and is relatively logical. The weird shit that changes is street fighting myths and lore like feeding your dog lead to make it stronger or chemo drugs to give it pep, just like outlandish crazy shit
