<2022-03-07T01:54:46.000Z> jjetty: Sorry I didnt see this message until I sat down on a computer and opened Poast. Nah, I don't think you're crazy. Most of what I saw at the beginning of that discussion on your end was facts and logic.
<2022-03-07T01:55:31.000Z> jjetty: The thing I got annoyed with to the point of saying something (which would have been more if I wasnt on a phone) was watching her turn around and start accusing you of things, things she was doing herself.
<2022-03-07T04:44:33.000Z> jjetty: I honestly suspect that she's been on the losing end of that specific argument before and can't let it go because she doesn't know how to. Same goes for others who took her side on the matter. They think they know what's best but what doesn't seem to click in any of their heads is that in reality; every family is different and functions differently. In some families, men conform to the expectations TinyFern and company have while in others men simply don't. Both situations have their strenghs and opprotunities, both can and will either fail or succeed. All involve personal relationships that at the end of the day are nobodies business except for the parties involved. Unfortunately, television and now the internet have made it very easy for this to be forgotten or outright dismissed by people who look to these platforms for guidance and think that whatever is said on them (that they choose to hear) is the correct example for all to follow. The very argument she made last night is one I've seen and heard in almost every sitcom, romcom or drama since TV was a thing and the internet has given her a place for her to parrot it and defend that viewpoint by any means nessessary. So, yeah, I don't think you're crazy I just think you have your thing and she has her's. Your thing doesn't make sense to her and she needs to get over it.

<2022-03-10T04:51:04.000Z> SuT5CH3gFe26TCFR: "Downloaded a phone usage app, had at look at the phone unlocking stats. In the last week (only records available) there's no time period of more than 2 hours where I didn't unlock my phone. So, logically, I can't be sleeping more than 2 hours. There is also only one 2-hour block per night, when there is one.I suddenly feel so much more justified in being unproductive all day and in weird moods. This is one of those male female difference things where I want my husband to essentially gush about how hard I have it and validate my feelings, but he basically shrugged."
<2022-03-11T00:44:36.000Z> jjetty: Oh see, this proves the point someone I know IRL made about women and social media.
<2022-03-11T00:45:08.000Z> jjetty: and that person I know is woman on her 5th kid
<2022-03-11T00:45:30.000Z> jjetty: They all use it to look for validation lol
