<2022-05-18T03:11:33.000Z> GravyTrain: Do you have a folder of all your uploaded content you could poast/send? Because I really would hate to spend several hours manually saving it all.

<2022-05-18T04:01:52.000Z> GravyTrain: I keep my account focused on politics and social commentary but poast is a great source of art and aesthetics as well
<2022-05-18T04:01:57.000Z> GravyTrain: keep up the good work fren
<2022-05-18T04:05:27.000Z> GravyTrain: This is a common feeling nowadays. I think it's just us normal people remembering how much better our communities were when we were kids. You could walk all around town as a kid and be safe.
<2022-05-18T04:05:34.000Z> GravyTrain: Now it's...less so
<2022-05-18T04:08:25.000Z> GravyTrain: Japan nowadays still maintains good public security and therefore has more refined art. Everything in America is about racial strife, oppression in the hood, and whatever Godforsaken message progressives want. It's nice to see something beautiful being made oversees still.
<2022-05-18T04:08:59.000Z> GravyTrain: I guess you could take a line from Dagoth Ur: Asians have a grand and intoxicating innocence
<2022-05-18T04:14:48.000Z> GravyTrain: What's fascinating about Japan is its relation to China. China was always so set in its ways thanks to perfect geographic defenses and was rich due to its silk and ceramics trade. It could double crop and get stupid amounts of rice every year. Because of this they never really changed.Japan though had to deal with far more inclement weather and far less resources. Because of that they innovated, both socially and technologically. When China got brought low by the Brits and the Japanese were opened up by Admiral Perry they knew what was up and instantly modernized. New government, bought every ship they could from the
<2022-05-18T04:15:07.000Z> GravyTrain: British and just like that, they were a player on the world stage.
<2022-05-18T04:16:05.000Z> GravyTrain: I think the Japanese are in many ways different from the west due to their more engrained face culture, but their innovation and dominance over the environment makes them kindred souls.
<2022-05-18T04:16:12.000Z> GravyTrain: China is indeed unique
<2022-05-18T04:19:33.000Z> GravyTrain: I think they've actually lost the mandate of heaven forever. Xi is doing a lot to try and bring them back as they once were, but once the British snatched the country like a bird plucks a worm from the ground, they lost the mystique of being the land protected by mountains and deserts and just became another part of the ocean traveling empires.
<2022-05-18T04:19:43.000Z> GravyTrain: But Xi might prove me wrong in the end though.
<2022-05-18T04:20:41.000Z> GravyTrain: That guy is the real deal when it comes to a strongman dictator. Gave up taking the easy path and took the hard way up via local politics until he climbed all the way to the top.
<2022-05-18T04:21:01.000Z> GravyTrain: Basically, yeah
<2022-05-18T04:21:27.000Z> GravyTrain: They seem like they're on the right side with Russia at the moment so that's a big plus.
<2022-05-18T04:24:52.000Z> GravyTrain: The animosity between those two dates so far back it ain't even realistic to see them as anything more than just eternal rivals. While we are all focused on Iran getting a nuke or India and Pakistan kicking off the end times, it wouldn't be at all unthinkable to see The Land of the Rising Sun and the Dragon of the East break the seventh seal so to speak.
<2022-05-18T04:26:39.000Z> GravyTrain: Honestly the state side is going to be the place soon for things getting lively. I'm amazed at how quick everything is getting sent down the drain.
<2022-05-18T04:27:50.000Z> GravyTrain: I originally had a 15 year plan for the boog times. That has been shortened down to about 2 after the events of 2021 and 2022.
<2022-05-18T04:28:30.000Z> GravyTrain: I think accelerationism is literally going to happen just by people refusing to be insane.
<2022-05-18T04:28:38.000Z> GravyTrain: What's that quote agin?
<2022-05-18T04:28:54.000Z> GravyTrain: “A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us.”
<2022-05-18T04:29:01.000Z> GravyTrain: Yeah that's the line
<2022-05-18T04:30:08.000Z> GravyTrain: Anyhow, have a good evening and stay poasting champ
