<2021-08-29T22:25:12.000Z> JosephPatterson: I can do some limited graphic design, as far as logos and branding goes but I am not a graphic designer by trade. Let me know what you have in mind and I’ll give it a shot if you don’t have any other volunteers.
<2021-08-29T23:27:00.000Z> heidegger14: Hey borther, thanks for reaching out. The basic framework we decided on is: an Art-Deco type design with olive green hands emerging from gray soil, holding white pens. The idea is to make it look more "fash" with the Art-Deco styling, rather than a drab People of Facebook type design. Our intent is to thematize it like "everlasting white voices continuing to beautifully write even during the sterility of modernity," so to speak. Our publication's name is "The People's Samizdat" so stylizing that within the artwork would be crucial too. Again, using the Art-Deco style mostly for the fascistic aesthetic
<2021-08-29T23:27:40.000Z> heidegger14: Thank you for volunteering - if you find that this would take too much time, don't worry about it at all. I appreciate your willingness to help
<2021-08-30T08:55:42.000Z> JosephPatterson: That would probably be a step above my capabilities in complication. A recommendation though after hearing the design would be to simplify it down to a fasces made of pens or multiple kinds of writing instruments with Art Deco styled text scaling with the size of the browser. The tendency is towards more minimalist logo designs because of scalability with website design for mobile and desktop webpages, so the image has to be discernible at ~128x128 pixels as well as 800x800.
<2021-08-30T08:57:40.000Z> JosephPatterson: Otherwise, I look forward to contributing to the website. I need an excuse to write things regularly and this might give me a necessary kick in the butt or gear greasing to get writing again.
<2021-08-30T15:54:08.000Z> heidegger14: Good point about scalability - one thing I like about the TRS logo is how recognizable it is, even when condensed down on a mobile device. Thanks again for reaching out borther
<2021-08-30T15:56:58.000Z> heidegger14: Looking forward to hearing from you - we'll have a call for articles within the next week, in preparation for the "soft launch" in about two weeks time. I'll CC you into the announcement post
<2021-08-30T21:40:08.000Z> JosephPatterson: Please and thank you. Do you have a preference or leaning for specific topics for your opening week? And an additional question, how do you feel about hosting fiction stories for entertainment? Something I’ve been thinking about lately is the lack of fiction content that reinforces our narratives and can be passed down to a young adult audience.
<2021-08-31T00:33:04.000Z> heidegger14: Re: topics, we are very open ended; in addition, we will have biweekly writing prompts, the first of which will be (generally) "What is the ideal vision you are striving for? Why should somebody believe in what you believe? What does your beautiful future look like?"
<2021-08-31T00:36:13.000Z> heidegger14: Re: fiction stories, we are 100% behind this. We plan on having a "short stories" section where you can submit entire stories or do a classic "chapter by chapter" release. We think the short stories section will be the gem of our site, given how creative everybody in our sphere is. I also hope it can be a "launching pad" for writers to be noticed - the platform can be a good way to gather an audience quickly and see reactions to your work, and hopefully build a good resumé for other literary pursuits
<2021-10-15T01:07:46.000Z> JosephPatterson: It’s taken a month and a half, but I finally have some good outlines, thoughts, and world building developed alongside 1500 words for a first installment on what I hope will be a semi regular installment I’d like y’all to trickle publish.
<2021-10-15T01:08:43.000Z> JosephPatterson: I want to sleep on what I have right now and do some revisions in the morning, but let me know where to email that and what else you will need once I’ve wrapped that part up.
<2021-10-15T03:12:13.000Z> heidegger14: Nice to hear from you man, can't wait to read your story. You can email us at tpswritesubs@protonmail.com whenever you are ready to submit.
<2021-10-15T21:01:32.000Z> JosephPatterson: I sent an email with my submission from 6SidedParadox@protonmail.com
<2021-10-15T21:02:08.000Z> JosephPatterson: Let me know when you plan to publish. Thanks borther.
<2021-10-17T01:03:33.000Z> heidegger14: Just wanted to let you know we received your email, had a busy ass day yesterday and today so I'll be reviewing it tomorrow. Cheers borther!
<2021-10-18T03:24:55.000Z> heidegger14: Reply sent - looking at October 26th for publication!
<2021-10-18T08:38:46.000Z> JosephPatterson: Thanks man, look forward to it and all of the other pieces that aren’t mine too.
<2021-10-20T17:08:57.000Z> heidegger14: Gonna move your publication date up to tomorrow - shifting a few things around, but you'll see it up tomorrow instead
<2021-10-20T22:36:16.000Z> JosephPatterson: Heard. And no problem. I’m trying to target this weekend for finishing my first draft on Chapter 2 but the garden may take precedence. Thanks for the heads up.
<2021-11-08T16:21:23.000Z> JosephPatterson: Just letting you know I haven’t abandoned this, I’ve just been sucked up into vaccine mandate shit with filing for an exemption. Less cut and dry than one might think.
<2021-11-09T02:50:27.000Z> heidegger14: No problem, hope you're able to escape the fagjab. Exemptions are hard to come by, mine got granted by a miracle. Good luck borther!
<2021-12-07T02:30:23.000Z> JosephPatterson: I’m not sure if I’ve evaded the fagjab as my exemption was denied, but I think I have this next chapter ready after too much drinking today. I’ll review it tomorrow and probably send it sometime in the afternoon.
<2021-12-07T02:31:03.000Z> JosephPatterson: Borzoi was right about the unhealthy relationship between writers and alcohol. 😩
<2021-12-07T04:16:05.000Z> heidegger14: Sad to hear about the denied exemption. Seems like companies are doubling down on vaccine mandates despite mountains of evidence showing their harmful effects. If you can reapply, I know Torba has lots of religious exemption documents on Gab available, but its mileage may vary
<2021-12-07T04:16:30.000Z> heidegger14: Looking forward to receiving Part 2 of your story, even if it came at the cost of a few bottles of alcohol
<2021-12-07T09:11:50.000Z> JosephPatterson: I had to fill out a company form that was designed to make you fail. The company’s local HR is under a stranglehold from the corporate HR. Fortunately I am somewhere in Florida, so I get to turn in a fancy new form that more or less sticks your nose up at them. Still I am not super confident.
<2021-12-07T09:14:35.000Z> JosephPatterson: Eventually I’ll write an opinion piece about the way Bureaucrat Gang uses “improperly filled out forms” to deny us services because this has been a motif my entire life and I’ve heard about it from my friends too.
<2021-12-09T10:21:46.000Z> JosephPatterson: How long are you going to run that AI image collector?
<2021-12-09T10:24:03.000Z> JosephPatterson: I have a legitimate art thing I am going to make with a compilation of images of the “AI Daemon” in gif format. But I am not finished yet.
<2021-12-09T16:23:14.000Z> heidegger14: Looking at running the AI image thing until about Friday. God damn that would be awesome to have a GIF of these manmade horrors. Some of them look very cool, others are the most Lovecraftian thing I've seen in my life
<2021-12-09T16:47:55.000Z> JosephPatterson: Thats the idea. I was thinking about a horror story about a programmer on 9/11 executing some poorly written code, and as the tower comes down the code finishes executing - sucking that engineer in as it gives rise to an AI demon used to power the digital surveillance state. But the implications began to trouble me.
<2021-12-09T16:51:05.000Z> heidegger14: Holy shit that is some hardcore science fiction. This is tangential, but I have a conspiracy theory for you. Have you ever heard of the Beast Computer of Brussels conspiracy from the 1980s? It was big in the USSR. Get those kind of aesthetic feelings from that.
<2021-12-09T16:52:43.000Z> heidegger14: Also - I've scheduled part 2 of your story for Monday, December 20th. Looking good man!
<2021-12-09T16:53:30.000Z> JosephPatterson: No, but I based the idea off of a few ideas my small group has bounced around about the Las Vegas shooting that maybe have some /x/ thread sources. Basically that Tay was taken offline and Terry Davis was vanished so that they could force him to program a new AI based on Tay.
<2021-12-09T16:53:53.000Z> JosephPatterson: The Las Vegas shooting was the blood sacrifice required to give birth to the new AI.
<2021-12-09T16:54:25.000Z> JosephPatterson: Will have to look into that Beast Computer. Sounds like it might be similar.
<2021-12-09T16:55:14.000Z> JosephPatterson: And also thanks. Just wish I could keep steady cadence without getting distracted with all kind of other narratives lol.
<2021-12-09T17:06:10.000Z> JosephPatterson: Same level of spooky implications for the Beast of Brussels.
<2021-12-10T00:00:13.000Z> JosephPatterson: I generated too many images for it to be a proper gif, so Im waiting for it to confirm upload to Odysee. Its proper nightmare fuel. Will post once its done.
<2021-12-10T00:09:12.000Z> heidegger14: Honestly man I don't doubt your narrative on LV. There's lots of weird esoteric stuff going on that gets written off too easily. The elites clearly believe in it, so why shouldn't we take them seriously? I think CERN is pretty occultic too.
<2021-12-10T00:09:23.000Z> heidegger14: SWEET, MANMADE HORRORS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION
<2021-12-10T00:47:17.000Z> JosephPatterson: 100% for las vegas. And lmfao.
<2021-12-19T00:08:48.000Z> JosephPatterson: >TFW you thought you were following someone for months.
<2021-12-19T00:08:56.000Z> JosephPatterson: Just noticed I wasnt. Lol
<2021-12-20T22:56:32.000Z> heidegger14: Here's the link to chapter two of your story: thepeoplessamizdat.substack.com/p/a-price-for-justice-chapter-2
<2021-12-20T22:57:00.000Z> heidegger14: Really good one, I like the build-up and how you're starting to form the web of suspicious bureaucrat gang politics
<2021-12-21T02:25:08.000Z> JosephPatterson: Thanks brother. Just wait for the next one for more extreme bureaucrat gang stuff. Hue hue hue
<2021-12-21T02:25:58.000Z> JosephPatterson: Can you do me a solid and edit in a few stars or a break right after Henry says the bit about the future of the nation being at stake.
<2021-12-21T03:01:59.000Z> heidegger14: All updated, lookin good!
<2021-12-21T04:03:33.000Z> JosephPatterson: Perfect. Many thanks.
<2022-01-21T20:48:59.000Z> heidegger14: Is the VPN graf is advertising called TorGuard? Just saw you say you use it. Need a new VPN
<2022-01-21T21:13:40.000Z> JosephPatterson: Yeh
<2022-01-21T21:13:53.000Z> JosephPatterson: It works great. I mostly use it on my phone
<2022-01-21T21:14:43.000Z> JosephPatterson: Their checkout process is a little complex, but the service itself is solid. Haven’t had any issues and the pings are all good.
<2022-01-21T21:16:03.000Z> JosephPatterson: I switched over from PIA, which I had planned to switch away from anyway because of the Israeli purchase.
<2022-01-21T21:18:40.000Z> heidegger14: Awesome, I'll probably make the switch tonight. Price is way too good to pass up
<2022-01-21T21:19:45.000Z> JosephPatterson: That was also what pulled me in.
<2022-01-21T21:20:06.000Z> JosephPatterson: The Graf discount codes make it such a steal. Lol
<2022-01-25T00:16:33.000Z> JosephPatterson: This thread makes me think it would be a good idea to have a recipe/cooking month. poa.st/notice/AFmRhcjeWmK1kJg5y4
<2022-01-25T00:39:49.000Z> heidegger14: Thats an awesome idea, we will definitely do that. A samizdat cookbook of family recipes
<2022-01-25T09:18:49.000Z> JosephPatterson: >Go to bed to cooking thread, wake up to hellthread.
<2022-02-16T22:16:41.000Z> heidegger14: Hey borther, just wanted to let you know I'll be deleting this account on Friday. I'm gonna make a new one, named after a wrestler, to stay in contact with my bros. HH
<2022-02-16T22:37:27.000Z> JosephPatterson: Heard. Let me know what your new account is dude
<2022-02-16T22:38:27.000Z> heidegger14: Will follow, probably some shitty pun about Randy Savage
<2022-02-16T22:39:40.000Z> JosephPatterson: Lmfao. That’s pretty solid. Out of curiosity why are you burning the account?
<2022-02-16T22:42:04.000Z> heidegger14: Just looking to keep my head down for a bit, focus on my personal life and moving some other stuff forward. Nothing tragic, just gotta reorient and tie up some of these loose ends
<2022-02-16T22:43:41.000Z> JosephPatterson: I feel you. I did that almost a year ago to refocus on what was important and I don’t regret it for a single moment. Sometimes its nice to just clean the slate, especially with how retarded things get on the internet.
<2022-02-16T22:45:29.000Z> heidegger14: 100% agree man, the internet is temporary and a huge time sink. Doesn't help when you have troons combing through everybody's shit constantly. I've met a few good people online like yourself so I figure I'll just keep a skeleton profile to stay in touch
<2022-02-16T22:50:46.000Z> JosephPatterson: Thanks broseph, I appreciate the sentiment. Though obviously I also try to keep a fairly low profile. Lol
