<2022-04-03T03:12:47.000Z> dj: Hey Borzette, love your program. Especially great hearing you guys talk creative stuff - I followed Emily back in her Newgrounds days. I'd like to recommend Murdoch-Chan of Murdoch Murdoch as a guest. I think the Murdochs are on gab somewhere nowadays. I have a creative proposition for you. I'm a muso on the dissident netlabel 'Lovecrypt' - the same one Borzoi's mate Storm King releases on. We can be found at: lovecrypt.bandcamp.comThe label's original philosophy was sort of Landian accelerationism but this has since evolved and now encompasses a broader anti-capitalist, nationalist and Christian milieu, including obviously Storm's decelerationism and the Christian ethic of many of the more active among us on the label.Akira, who runs the netlabel, is contactable on twitter: twitter.com/lovecryptionWe have a remix compilation due to release on 17 April (see Akira's pinned tweet for a little trailer we put together). The idea is to turn the narrative of Nine Inch Nails' 2007 concept album 'Year Zero' on its head. The original album is set in the year 2022 and warns of a dark future under a Christian theocracy, with each song being an expression of a different kind of dissident under the regime. Well it's 2022 now and we're certainly in a very different place, so I thought it would be a nice project to invert and have contributions by ACTUAL creative dissidents. The final track 'Zero Sum' is a soft and slow piece where the song's protagonist comes to terms with his mortality and wishes for mercy from God. I wonder if you'd consider contributing a "remix" of this track in the form of a clean piano improv in your own chosen style. The isolated vocals are available online freely (I will link to you if you're interested) so in terms of editing it would be very straightforward. I would very happily do editing and mixing if you'd wanna miss that side of it.The track would be released under your name (although I'd advise using yet another pseudonym). If you would prefer to make it a collab we could do it as Zero Sum by Borzette & DJ. I would add basic synths and texture.I hope you consider it and would love to hear back from you.

<2022-04-04T14:37:21.000Z> ChickenNuggerz: I’m just getting off night shift, so let me reread this when I wake up so I can process all the details 👍🏻
<2022-04-04T23:58:14.000Z> dj: No worries - I just spoke to Akira and we're going to release the compilation in 2 parts now - First 8 tracks on April 17th and the next 8 (which has Zero Sum in it) between a fortnight and a month later, so should you choose to contribute you will have some more time to work on it.
<2022-04-18T15:35:10.000Z> dj: Hello. Happy Easter - God bless you and your family! We just completed Part I (see my pinned poast) and I'm assigning the remaining tracks for Part II (due in approx 1 month from now). Let me know if you're interested in doing a rendition of Zero Sum and I'll update my list.
