<2022-10-30T06:30:47.000Z> Bro-Drillard: But I prefer Hungary's approach. It's in NATO but doesn't give weapons to Ukraine, and doesn't allow weapon shipments through its territory either. It maintains a position where it can say to both sides "look I did the thing for you".
<2022-10-30T06:34:26.000Z> GoodBoyUV: I think Hungary's position is the ideal one- taking a third position, but Hungary has the luxury of not directly bordering Russia unlike Finland which Russia has invaded multiple times and annexed land from over the worry that Finland's border was too close to Russia's major cities so I think it's the only choice they have.
<2022-10-30T06:38:59.000Z> Bro-Drillard: As part of the Eastern Block Hungary was basically occupied by the Soviets. Through that period Finland was left neutral. Hungary doesn't want Russians on its soil either, but is careful not to provoke them.
<2022-10-30T06:47:22.000Z> GoodBoyUV: Yeah I think Finland would have probably maintained neutrality forever (keep in mind also the lack of occupation wasn't free they had to pay Russia insane reparations and cede national territory) if it hadn't been for the combo of them having a libtard PM currently and Russia invading a neighbor. The situation of both not being in NATO and being on the border of Russia really changes their options relative to Hungary. Ideally all the continental European countries would make a bloc that's a 3rd option to both the US and Russia, or even partnered to Russia for resources if need be, but of course ZOG does everything it can to prevent that.
